How to Root Xiaomi Redmi 2 by following steps:-
FLASHING CWM ON YOUR DEVICE.
Step 2: - Now Extract the downloaded file on your desktop after that download recovery.image.extract
and place it in the same folder.

Step 3: - Now Press and Hold Shift button and right click in the empty or blank area of the folder and click on "open command prompt window here".Then the command prompt will open, see below image for reference.

Step 4: - Now download the SuperSU.zip file and store it in your SD-Card of your device.
Step 5: - Next turn off your Redmi 2, and wait until it vibrates. After it vibrates now press
and hold the "Volume down and Power" keys together until it boots into the "fastboot mode".Now connect your device(Redmi 2)to your PC or Computer through an USB cable in fastboot mode itself.
Step 6: - Now in command prompt windows will executes the following command, if it once you enter that command, you will get an non-empty name for that device meaning the device is to be connected.

Step 7: - Next Execute the below command to flash the Recovery img(this will flash CWM recovery for flashing SuperSU.zip with CWM.)
Step 8: - Now your device in CWM Recovery Mode, now you have to flash the SuperSU.zip that you have stored in your SD Card and then select it and install it SuperSu.zip.
Step 9: - After successful flash now reboot your device, after that rebooting you will fine SuperSU app on your device, that means your device as been successfully Rooted.
Note: - Here you will not get into the CWM Recovery after boot because that was an a temporary installation, to permanently install CWM recovery to flash it with CWM Recovery Guide .
